A crescent dirk was placed in an eternal flame that remains lit to this day to test its longevity in extreme heat. Seven years has passed and the dirk was expected to be charred. Instead, the eternal flame granted it massive amounts of fire energy and has shaped it in its image. Because of its new form, the dirk was given to a high sage as a gift for his devotion to Pyritevale.
